Could we maybe put this issue back on the table by offering a little bounty? :) So I wouldn't have to package and distribute my own patched Okular debs anymore in future. For us with 32+ GB of RAM in every PC / laptop, the simple solution "always load to RAM" works great since months. For more general use in the mainline, even on tiny Raspis and stuff like that, it might be considered to add some logic like "don't take more than x% of available RAM, otherwise fall back to current non-preloading implementation for too large files". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
