The requirement that you enter a password even if the LUKS password is stored and filled in (you just have to click OK, as the password is already entered, but you shouldn't have to do that at all unless it fails). 2. On 4 of my 16 backup disks, I additionally have to enter a password to mount the disk, even after the LUKS volume is already opened. It isn't random; it's the same 4 disks (curiously, one in each of my 4 sets of 4 drives -- two sets of four for each of my two machines, with one stored offsite).
