Concept Art

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Open the Audio Volume Widget.

OBSERVED RESULT
There's no way the user can immediately tell the volume is under 100% from the
default devices tab.
Apparently I changed Firefox's volume significantly down to at some point
somehow, making me raise the maximum volume very often. I don't mess with app
volumes, so there was no need to even bother checking it.

EXPECTED RESULT
Having the volume percentage of the apps currently producing sound if it's
under 100%.
