            Bug ID: 516699
Summary: Content indexing not working after Plasma 6.6
    Classification: Frameworks and Libraries
           Product: frameworks-baloo
      Version First 6.6.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Baloo File Daemon
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
After the update to Plasma 6.6, contents of new files do not get indexed. Their
filenames do despite having "File names and contents" checked in File Search
settings. The way I confirmed this is a bug in Plasma 6.6 is when I booted to a
previous OCI image (fedora kinoite) with Plasma 6.5.5 and here file content
indexing worked perfectly fine!

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Update to 6.6
2. Use command `balooctl6 check`
3. Then use `balootctl6 failed`

OBSERVED RESULT
New files after the 6.6 update will fail to index contents (not filename)

EXPECTED RESULT
Contents succesfully being indexed

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Will post later as im booted on the OCI image with Plasma 6.5.5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I even tried other things like increasing the inotify timer; disabling, purging
the index and re-enabling baloo. I even deleted the ~/.local/share/baloo folder
and re-enabled baloo. Still nothing. The files tested were mostly PDFs with
one docx file. They are all indexed perfectly fine on 6.5.5, just not 6.6.
