Thanks for the bug report, and for your troubleshooting.

I'm not able to reproduce this in Plasma 6.6.1 / Dolphin 25.12.2 on Solus.
Using an ISO located on a second internal disk mounted to /data/
- Right click /data/temp/file.iso, click Mount
- Observed that the ISO appears in the Places panel under Devices

Can you attach a screen recording of reproducing the bug, so I can make sure
I'm following the same steps?

This I can reproduce on any disk by clicking the Eject icon or right click -
unmount in the Places panel. Unmount - doesn't.
The ISO still appears in the Devices, and as a loop device without a mount
point
This is also able to be reproduced on Dolphin built from git-master.
