            Bug ID: 516876
Summary: Changing the brightness terminates screen recording
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.6.80
       Reported In:
          Platform: KDE Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: screencasting
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Press Meta+R to start a screen recording in Spectacle, select a region, and
press Record
2. Change the screen brightness via any method

OBSERVED RESULT
Screen recording abruptly ends and Spectacle shows an error dialog saying:

> An error occurred while attempting to record the screen.
> The stream closed because a screen containing the target region changed in a
> way that disrupted the recording.

EXPECTED RESULT
Ideally this shouldn't happen and it should be able to continue recording? Not
a huge deal I guess, but still unexpected.
