It would be a perfect solution to me, but if it has to be snappy and instant, you would want it to load apps instantly and the things that load longer should still appear as soon as possible. So I could open an app instantly but wait for other results to render asap. But since it is not possible to meet all choices, you would need to add an option to the settings.
