            Bug ID: 516962
Summary: Crash in Wayland session if run programs
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.6.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: CachyOS
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: generic-crash
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
After updating to Plasma 6.6.1 (Wayland session), launching most applications
causes kwin_wayland to crash. With some apps the session recovers after, but
for others (like Konsole) repeated crashes lead to being logged out. Firefox
and Chromium Ungoogled work fine.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.Log in to a Plasma Wayland session.
2.Launch any application other than Firefox or Chromium Ungoogled (e.g.,
Dolphin, SystemSettings, VLC, Gwenview, LM Studio, Konsole).

OBSERVED RESULT
Simple apps (VLC, Gwenview, LM Studio, Dolphin): kwin_wayland crashes once, but
the session automatically recovers.
Konsole and SystemSettings: kwin_wayland crashes repeatedly, and after several
attempts the session ends and I'm returned to the login manager.
The crashes are visible in coredumpctl (see Atachment).

EXPECTED RESULT
All applications start normally without crashing kwin_wayland.
