ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I noticed this bug in pursuit of a way to zoom while both [knowing the mouse
position (preferably shown when the mouse is not above an image)] and [not
having the mouse blocking images or videos while observing them].
I attempted to use [System Settings⇾Accessibility⇾Zoom & Magnifier⇾Pointer
appearance: Keep] with [System Settings⇾Window Management⇾Desktop Effects⇾Hide
Cursor⇾Hide cursor on inactivity: 1 second].
