Bug ID: 517083
Summary: Request to display bluetooth device info (type,
address, adapter, name) directly under the bluetooth
settings without needing to click on each device
individually
Classification: Applications
Product: systemsettings
Version First 6.5.5
Reported In:
Platform: Manjaro
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: kcm_bluetooth

Target Milestone: ---
Summary Request:
I think it would be very useful if a user could see all the information about
each bluetooth device at a glance directly from "system settings > bluetooth"
instead of having to manually click on each one to see info such as type,
address, adapter, name etc... There is also no obvious UI indication that each
device entry is clickable in the first place to display further options (only
the connect and forget icons on the right are obvious to the user)
Alternatively this information could be hidden by default and expand or
collapse below each entry at the click of a visible arrow icon next to the
connect and disconnect icons on the right... and the "trusted" and "blocked"
toggles could be incorporated into this expanded submenu.
Currently the bluetooth device list looks a bit barren and a user cannot
immediately identify which bluetooth adapter each device is connected to and
other such useful information. I feel that these changes would improve the
useability of the bluetooth section and make it easier to quickly manage your
devices.
