Doesn't look super great
Using NeoChat from KDE's nightly Flatpak repo.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Apply https://invent.kde.org/network/neochat/-/merge_requests/2755
2. Enter a message consisting of:
Test list:
- is it fixed
- maybe
- I hope so
3. Press Enter
OBSERVED RESULT
The message is sent as plaintext, not transformed into a fancy formatted list
like NeoChat used to do. It's rendered as:
Test list:
- is it fixed
- maybe
- I hope so
Which doesn't look great. in either NeoChat or Element. Even with the
unnecessary line breaks removed, it doesn't look as good as it used to when it
became a pretty markdown-formatted list in the final message (not in the text
entry field; in the final sent message).
EXPECTED RESULT
Pretty formatted markdown list like NeoChat used to be able to do, and that
Element can still do.
