SUMMARY

I have a pretty standard laptop monitor and like to run windows covering a
quarter of the screen. Some of those are VMs. After switching them from SDDM,
the Sleep, Shutdown, etc. buttons are truncated, and the session selector is
not visible at all.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a VirtualBox VM with Plasma installed in a quarter screen window. After
the space given up for the app, the dimensions left to the desktop are 960 x
519.
2. I did try the Positioning options in the Configure Appearance window, but
those had no effect. I guess they're just for the wallpaper.

OBSERVED RESULT

The controls in the lower part of the screen are cut off or not visible at all.

EXPECTED RESULT

Fully visible buttons.
