Screenshot showing missing line attributes
SUMMARY
Intermittent inability to modify several of the stroke options when stroke is
used for text "Text On A Curve"
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create vector layer (shift-insert)
2. Create bezier curve
3. Select text tool
4. Click on curve to place text on curve.
5. Click off of text to complete text insertion (with "Placeholder Text" or
create your own).
6. Select "Select Shapes Tool." (arrow tool)
7. Click on curve/text object to select.
8. Click square in upper right of text box to change from text attributes to
curve attributes (it turns blue)
9. Click on bezier curve to select it.
9. Select the line tab within the Tool Options window.
OBSERVED RESULT
The color selection is available, and stroke type can be selected (None, Solid,
Gradient), but line thickness, style, and ornaments selectors are missing.
EXPECTED RESULT
I should be able to change all line attributes just as I would be able to were
the curve not part of a text object.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: WIN10
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It is possible to re-enable access to all stroke attributes by clicking on the
"Edit Shapes" tool, then going back to the "Select Shapes" tool, at which point
the line thickness, line style, and ornaments selectors will appear. I have
also had this happen to bezier curves that were not part of a text object, but
that's harder to reproduce.
