       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux

  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
This is a request for a new feature and not a bug.

Currently Kwrite as well as Kate gives the ability to set a bookmark in the
file. When a bookmark is set there is no indication on the left hand side
margin that there is a bookmark at that particular line. Only the background
color of the line changes. There should be an indicator like a triangle
pointing at the line or a small circle or a square in the left hand side margin
indicating that there is a bookmark on that particular line

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a file with multiple lines in KWRITE
2. Toggle a bookmark by using the key combination CTRL+B or by going to the
menu option, Go > Bookmarks > Toggle Bookmarks
3. Repeat step 2 for atleast 2-3 more lines

OBSERVED RESULT
There is no visual indicator on the margin in the left hand side, where line
numbers are shown, that the line has been bookmarked

EXPECTED RESULT
There ought to be a visual indicator or a visual cue on the margin in the left
hand side, where line numbers are shown, that the line has been bookmarked. The
visual indicator or cue can be a triangle pointing to the line or a circle or a
square or any other icon.
