SUMMARY
games and movies too have this behavior seen on my video it looks really bad
and it seems to only happen with efficiency and checking compositing debug
confirms direct scanout related issue to me as all compositing stops and thats
where the image looks off.
Using accuracy fixes it as compositing is enabled.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. turn HDR on, and set color accuracy to efficiency
2. boot a game and observe the behaviour
OBSERVED RESULT
ugly banding blocky/boiled presentation
EXPECTED RESULT
minimal banding with smooth look
