Target Milestone: ---
Hello,
the other day, going through my filesystem for cleanup, I noticed that around a
hundred megabytes was used by KTuberling, which was installed as a dependency
of Debian's "kde-full"/"kdegames" [1]. As it turns out, most of this is caused
by French and Indonesian using uncompressed CD-quality WAV files for storage.
Most others were using Vorbis, however many of these still are 256kbps+.
In my own testing with ffmpeg and opus, I could compress the files to around
25MB total without any noticeable loss in quality (down from the current 90MB).
I was planning to open a MR to address this, but since I know git isn't always
the best fit for large binary files, I'm not sure if the compression should be
done at build time instead.
