Bug ID: 517616
Summary: Looped image sequence clips are reset to initial
length when dragging between tracks
Classification: Applications
Product: kdenlive
Version First git-master
Reported In:
Platform: Debian testing
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Timeline & Editing
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
Looped image sequences (unlike normal image sequences or video clips) can be
extended beyond their initial length by dragging the right hand side toward the
right. When moving such a clip to another track, it is reset to its original
length (and some odd, partially reproducible stuff happens to keyframes beyond
the initial length, too).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a looped image sequence to the project bin
2. Drag it into V1
3. Extend its length beyond its initial length
4. Drag it into V2
OBSERVED RESULT
The track's length is reduced to the initial length
EXPECTED RESULT
The track's length is preserved (and all keyframes/effects/… too)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
At least once I saw a clip getting reset to another than its initial length, I
think, but maybe I confused myself with zoom levels.
