SUMMARY
The great Amarok player is not listening to the "Media Controller" pseudo app
for media commands.
I know I can remap the media buttons (eg. play/pause) within the plasma
shortcuts to Amarok directly, but this breaks this functionality for other apps
like vlc.
It would be nice if Amarok could, after such a long time of resistance, start
to listen to Media controller instead of "hijacking" the controls for itself.
Please make it the user configurable choice, at least, to not to break the
status quo for others.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install amarok and vlc on clean plasma
2. observe that media butons do not work for amarok, but do work for vlc
3. remap buttons to amarok
4. observe that vlc lost the functionality

EXPECTED RESULT
Working media button experience out of the box, or config option for it.
