OK - I cannot reproduce the problem with a new user, which suggest it may be profile related. The problem is still present on my personal profile, which is slowing down my use of KDE a lot. I suggest we close this bug report, and I'll continue to monitor. In the meantime, how can I get rid of the problem and keep my klipper history and the rest of my profile?
