This seems like it may be related to #490636, but in my case it happens just pasting from within the document. I've uploaded coredumps from both versions to my server, since they're too large to attach here. Create a new blank document (US Letter size in my case) 3. Select an area with the rectangular selection tool 4. Ctrl-x to cut, ctrl-v to paste Unfortunately it does seem to be pretty intermittent, especially in 6.1. I made a xdotool script to try to reproduce and haven't had much success, I'm not sure if there's something in my organic testing that's triggering it. I'm on Ubuntu 25.10, running X11.
