Bug ID: 517861
Summary: "Ends" field for repeating days broken; opening the
calendar decrements it
Classification: Applications
Product: Merkuro
Version First 25.12.3
Reported In:
Platform: EndeavourOS
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
Using the little dropdown arrow on the "Ends On" option decrements the option
you've selected by one day.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Merkuro and create an event on a given day.
2. Set it to repeat e.g. "Weekly", "Monthly".
3. Set it to a day after the one the first event was on. E.g. if it's "25 May",
set it stop repeating "On" "31 May".
4. Click the little dropdown arrow to view the calendar again.
5. Click outside of the calendar menu to get back out.
OBSERVED RESULT
The Qt field will now read "30 May 2026" rather than "31 May 2026", and this is
repeatable.
EXPECTED RESULT
Reselecting the field should not change the option you've already selected.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Operating System: EndeavourOS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
Kernel Version: 6.18.18-1-lts (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The dates don't fit inside of the box correctly. E.g. "18 June 2026" displays
fine, but "30 May 2026" doesn't have enough room inside the visible text field
and displays as "0 May 2026". May make a separate issue.
