SUMMARY
After a system update today, during which Kate was update from 25.12.1 to
25.12.3, I can no longer drag files from the filesystem browser sidebar into
the editor (the cursor changes into the not-allowed icon and drop events in the
editor are not accepted). Dragging files from the open documents browser still
works. Note that during this update also Plasma was updated from 6.5.5 to
6.6.3, so I'm not sure if this is an issue with Kate or Kwin (I'm running on
Wayland).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Kate
2. open the filesystem browser sidebar
3. drag a file from the sidebar into the editor
OBSERVED RESULT
Mouse cursor changes to not-allowed, the file is not opened
EXPECTED RESULT
The file is opened after it is dropped
