Oscar Fuentes <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|DOWNSTREAM |FIXED --- Comment #2 from Oscar Fuentes <[email protected]> --- Adding some more data, now with an AMD 9950X using the iGPU. Otherwise Plasma, OS, etc are the same as the 6700k machine mentioned on my report. With two mpv instances streaming 1920x1080 25 fps video, kwin_wayland uses ~4% of one cpu execution thread, which is roughly the same as the sum of both mpv instances. Curiously, the difference among full-screen and tiny window (~190x100 pixels) is on the noise level for kwin_wayland. When executing a test suite that uses all cpu execution threads (32) it runs ~5% slower when the videos are playing. Please note that kwin_wayland plus two mpv instances use ~8% of one cpu execution thread, but makes the system 5% slower for a task like that. Pity that this bug report was autoclosed. You should put a warning about not accepting reports for previous versions on the initial form. One takes time to investigate and then file a proper bug report for it to be thrown away. Sigh. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
