SUMMARY: AppImage Startup fails due to unresolved symbol

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a 20.04 Ubuntu or similar system:
$ uname -a
Linux galago-rk 6.0.12-76060012-generic
#202212290932~1683754412~20.04~3254e87~dev-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DY x86_64 x86_64
x86_64 GNU/Linux

2. Download, chmod, and try to run the 25.12.3 AppImage:
$ ~/Downloads/kdenlive-25.12.3-x86_64.AppImage
/tmp/.mount_kdenliOHmiJL/AppRun.wrapped: symbol lookup error:
/tmp/.mount_kdenliOHmiJL/usr/bin/../lib/libwayland-cursor.so.0: undefined
symbol: wl_proxy_marshal_flags

3. Feel sadness because you wanted to use kdenlive and it used to work.

OBSERVED RESULT
/tmp/.mount_kdenliOHmiJL/AppRun.wrapped: symbol lookup error:
/tmp/.mount_kdenliOHmiJL/usr/bin/../lib/libwayland-cursor.so.0: undefined
symbol: wl_proxy_marshal_flags

EXPECTED RESULT
kdenlive starts and runs correctly

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Sorry, my Ubuntu doesn't seem to know about kinfo.

Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 20.04. I don't think I have plasma and I shouldn't
need it because the kdenlive installation instructions don't direct me to have
it and the AppImage is supposed to include all dependencies, right?
$ plasmashell --version

Command 'plasmashell' not found, but can be installed with:

sudo apt install plasma-workspace

KDE Plasma Version: see above; I don't think I have this.
KDE Frameworks Version: I don't know how to find this.
Qt Version: Probably 5.12.8, since I am using Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, but I haven't
figured out how to successfully query the version explicitly.
