            Bug ID: 518158
           Summary: Kwallet cannot be closed
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kwalletmanager
      Version First 25.12.3
       Reported In:
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
There is a bug where kwalletmanager does nothing when you click the close
wallet button. You can immediately open the wallet without entering a password.
I recently noticed that the KeepSecret app can actually lock the wallet, but
again, if kwallet is used as Secret Service in the system, secret-tool can
still access the passwords.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the wallet
2. Close the wallet
3. Try to interact with wallet via Secret Service API or via kwalletmanager

OBSERVED RESULT
You can view your passwords

EXPECTED RESULT
You should fail

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.6.3
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In the steps for reproducing the issue, I omitted important steps such as
clicking the button in the dialog that says “The wallet is still in use;
closing it may cause errors,” and clicking the X in the password entry dialog,
since the wallet will open anyway after closing the window...
