--- Comment #2 from piedro <[email protected]> ---
Hi!

This is still present.

Merkuro Kontacts allows me to see my contacts and looks very nice in doing so.

But there has to be a way to copy the information from the view to somewhere
else like

- clip it into an office program
- copy/paste it into an email
- the menu "edit" only shows greyed out entries, there is no obvious way to get
stored address information or parts of it out of the program
- even in edit mode, there is no way to copy for example the address or all
phone numbers
- there is no export to vcf or csv or any way to grab the contact data nor all
the data

The contact view doesn't even allow for marking text strings with the mouse to
copy with normal system clipboard commands.
This has been my report as the bug here.

What's funny is that the only place to get any information out of Merkuro
Kontacts is the "help" menu - here there is a button to copy information about
all used libraries to the clipboard.

So the option to copy data is right there in the program!

Maybe I completely misunderstand this application? Is this developed as just an
address viewer?
Or am I missing some setting, feature or dependency which is needed to unlock
copy and paste?

As a viewer this programs look is fantastic, some inbuilt features are elegant
and beautiful, so it really puzzles me that there is no way to use the contact
information - a simple "copy to clipboard" would be a simple workaround... (as
it's already there in the help menu!).

But being able to mark text strings for copying seems essential for any
integration into the usual workflow with the plasma desktop.

Thanks for reading!
