SUMMARY
Kdenlive crashes when importing multiple videos with wrong project settings,
correct format is automatically detected but crashes after pressing "switch".
With the correct settings, import is still slow but doesn't crash.
In the video example, 4k footages were used in the 1080p timeline.

kdenlive 25.12.13 installed through Pacman.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open kdenlive with a 1080p 25fps project timeline.
2. drag and drop around 10 4k footage into the project.
OBSERVED RESULT
it becomes unresponsive and crashes, or crashes after clicking on the switch
button.
EXPECTED RESULT
imports without issues
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Unsure if 4k footage plays a role. Davinci is able to import all the footage
fine.
