Then please start working on it, as the OpenGL renderer is just not enough!
 At least for the 2 cases that I used on my laptop with an integrated Intel UHD
620 (part of i5-8250U CPU):

1. External 4K @ 30 screen - Moving, opening, closing windows seems pretty
sluggish.
2. Internal 2K @ 60 screen with MPV trying to playback a 4K + HDR movie - lots
of frames dropped (on the output), while the CPU is not surpassing 60% usage
and the Linux kernel and Mesa drivers very close to the upstream versions.

And please make a proper FPS counter somewhere, something like MangoHUD would
be perfect, or at least make MangoHUD work with Kwin!
