Bug ID: 518240
Summary: Holiday country selection combo box doesn't show
multiple countries
Classification: Applications
Product: korganizer
Version First 6.6.2
Reported In:
Platform: openSUSE
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
In the settings, the combo box to select holiday sets to show, the portion
that's visible even when the combo box isn't opened can't show multiple holiday
sets (countries) even if multiple are selected.
Moreover, it generally seems to show whichever country was last clicked,
whether it was selected or deselected.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to Settings / Time and Date / Regional.
2. Under Holidays, check e.g. Hungary (Hungarian), then check Italy (Italian)
(assuming neither of these is selected initially).
3. Then click Italy (Italian) again, to deselect it.
OBSERVED RESULT
After 2., the widget shows "Italy (Italian)".
After 3., it still shows "Italy (Italian)".
AFAICT the holiday sets are saved and then displayed correctly, just the widget
can't show them properly.
EXPECTED RESULT
After 2., it shows something like "Hungary (Hungarian) and Italy (Italian)".
After 3., it shows "Hungary (Hungarian)".
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20260318
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
Kernel Version: 6.19.5-1-default (64-bit)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'm not sure if the bug is reported for the correct product.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92471#c16 says that, at least in KDE 4.6
in 2010, the KHoliday library provided a then-new HolidaySelector widget which
allowed selecting multiple holiday sets. However, glancing at the current
source of the KHoliday framework, it doesn't seem to provide any widget.
