Screenshot of KAddressBook: Folders are present and activated, but contacts are
missing.
SUMMARY
Despite having a Microsoft Exchange account correctly connected and activated
in Kontact, Exchange contacts are not appearing in KAddressBook. The supposedly
synchronized folders are showing up, but not the contacts. The Exchange account
syncs (with some problems) email and calendar, but not contacts.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Configure and activate a Microsoft Exchange account in Kontact
(OAuth2-Office 365)
2. Verify that the contacts folder subscription is enabled.
3. Verify that the account status is "successful," or "correct" ("ready").
OBSERVED RESULT
Kontact syncs and displays Exchange email and calendar, but although it lists
folders related to Exchange contacts, the contacts themselves are not
displayed. Neither restarting Akonadi, nor clearing the cache, nor restarting
the Exchange account solves the problem.
EXPECTED RESULT
The contacts stored in the Exchange account should appear and sync in
KAddressBook.
