Summary: plasmashell crashes when adding a widget (dependent on
                    active icon theme)
    Classification: Plasma

System Information:

Operating System: OpenSuSE Tumbleweed
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0
Qt Version: 6.11.0
Graphics Platform: Wayland or X11

Summary:
Whenever I attempt to add a new widget to my desktop or panel, plasmashell
immediately crashes and restarts. I have isolated this issue to the active icon
theme. If I change the system iconset to Breeze, I can add widgets normally
without a crash. The crash consistently occurs when using Tela icon set.

Steps to Reproduce:

Apply the Tela icon theme in System Settings.

Right-click the desktop (or enter Edit Mode) and select "Add Widgets...".

Observe the behavior.

Observed Behavior:
plasmashell crashes immediately and automatically restarts. The widget explorer
does not open.

Expected Behavior:
The widget explorer should open smoothly, allowing me to select and add a
widget without the shell crashing.

Additional Information / Workaround:
As a temporary workaround, changing the icon theme to Breeze allows the widget
explorer to open and function correctly. The issue seems to be directly tied to
rendering certain icons within the widget explorer UI.
