       Reported In:
          Platform: Kubuntu
                OS: Linux

          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR

  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

Some songs play slightly too high. Using .m4a files mainly.
I have compared to Tidal in the browser, and the same files with VLC and tidal
and VLC are both the same pitch. I have tried with different speakers,
including headphones.
It is very close to un noticeable, but some songs lend themselves to it. For
example the very intro of "Charlemagne" by Blossoms and the piano in the
beginning of "Telephone" by Waterparks.

It is very subtle, and took me a while to notice.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Play a .m4a file in Elisa
2. Compare the sound to the same file in other players

OBSERVED RESULT
Pitch is noticeably too high in some cases
EXPECTED RESULT
Pitch should be the same across all players (and streaming services)
