    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell

       Reported In:
          Platform: openSUSE
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED

SUMMARY
Problem 1: If i copy anything in the clipboard, it doesn't show in the
clipboard history.
Problem 2: If i close the app where i copied something, the clipboard
disappears.

I will use the same example for the whole report, which is copying system
information from the system settings (about this system → copy details).

———

PROBLEM 1: STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Copy something to the clipboard.
2. Check the clipboard history.

PROBLEM 1: OBSERVED RESULT
The history is empty, check screenshot.

PROBLEM 1: EXPECTED RESULT
Should show the last clipboard taken.

———

PROBLEM 2: STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Copy something to the clipboard from a specific app, for example the system
information from the system settings.
2. Try to paste somewhere. It should work.
3. Close the app, in the example, it would be the system settings.
4. Try to paste somewhere again.

PROBLEM 2: OBSERVED RESULT
After closing the app (the source of the clipboard), i can't paste it anywhere
anymore.

PROBLEM 2: EXPECTED RESULT
It should not matter whether i closed the source of the clipboard or not. It
seems that this problem is related to the fact that it doesn't save the
clipboard history.
