The whole matching can fit into mRAM, so setting this to way higher number doesn't really affect the speed too much. One moře idea: this number could be in the Face Scanning parameters in People tab, which I noticed affects recognition globally (not too intuitive IMHO, should go to the settings UI). That way, the users could set it high and run a full face recognition overnight, and then set it lower again for interactive usage.
