SUMMARY
Using the Transform Tool and scaling the Global Selection Mask causes the
selection to be lost when toggling the mask off too quickly.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. On a 4000x4000 px canvas, create a selection with one of the selection
tools.
2. Toggle the Global Selection Mask.
3. Use the Transform tool to significantly scale up the mask and click Apply in
Tool Options.
4. Immediately attempt to toggle the Global Selection Mask off.
OBSERVED RESULT
The Global Selection Mask takes slightly longer than expected to toggle and the
resulting scaled selection appears for a moment before disappearing. Undoing
can bring the selection back.
EXPECTED RESULT
The scaled selection should not disappear or be deselected.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Pop_OS 22.04
Krita: 5.3.0 Appimage
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The bug seems to happen as a result of toggling the Global Selection Mask
before the Transform has time to finish.
