SUMMARY
If I run a Find Duplicates scan on a bulk import folder, and say I have 100 Ref
images shown in the list, I can select any of them except the last in the
series, and if I delete all but one (i.e. if there are 2, and I delete the
non-reference image), or 3 (where I delete either 2 images independently or as
a group), the system will index to the next pair/group in the list. If I select
all images in the group, and delete all, it doesnt index. I get an error about
a data query returning no results etc.
This is a problem where often I may bulk import files, and perhaps there may be
multiple matches of something that is not relevant to the import (If im
importing a football catalog and there are tennis shots as duplicates, I may
want to delete all of those since none are wanted). Same can happen if the
photos that are duplicates are just not of interest etc.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Implied, but run a find duplicates on a group with multiple groups of
similar or identical images so that you have multiple entries in the Red Images
list
2. Select any entry but the last one. Select all matches (2 + images), and hit
Del
3. System will show an error in the preview window, which then fades and the
preview doesnt index to the next group, as it would if you delete all but 1
image from the test group.
OBSERVED RESULT
No automatic index to the next group
EXPECTED RESULT
Index to the next group in the summary list
