I work with two panels, multiple tabs and the built-in terminal. As a result, I
frequently switch between active panels.
There has been a bug for several versions now. Actions are supposed to be
performed in the panel that has focus (the folder name in bold in the address
bar). This no longer works reliably and is dangerous. Sometimes I copy or
delete files using keyboard shortcuts, and instead of the selected files in the
active panel being processed, they are processed in the other panel, which can
be very dangerous. The Back button also does not work reliably for the
currently active panel with focus and instead jumps back in the other panel.
This is very frustrating!
The problem occurred in KDE Plasma on Kubuntu 25.10 and persists in Kubuntu
26.04 with Plasma 6.6.4.
