            Bug ID: 519850
Summary: Second Screen Displays Wrong Time during screenlocking
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First master
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Screen locking
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY

For approximately 2 months on Fedora Kinoite, multiple machines with multiple
monitors attached sometimes show a different time on one locked screen relative
to another. In these cases, only the hours differ, and the secondary monitor
often appears to display UTC (my timezone US Pacific has an hour-level offset
from UTC, so minutes do not differ).

This was not something I observed in 2025 or prior, so I suspect a more recent
update caused this intermittent behavior.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. This is intermittent. But, upon waking from sleep/screen off, but before
unlocking screen, observe displayed time on both monitors

OBSERVED RESULT
Time does not match

EXPECTED RESULT
Two monitors approximately 10cm apart remain in the same timezone
