Bug ID: 519852
Summary: Plasma 6.6.4 prevents widget placement adjacent to
screen edge or panels.
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasmashell
Version First 6.6.4
Reported In:
Platform: Manjaro
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
SUMMARY
Since upgrading from 6.5.6 to 6.6.4, I can no longer place widgets immediately
adjacent to the screen edge or to a panel. If I drag a widget within about 7px
of either, as soon as I release the mouse button, the widget bounces back so
it's about 15px away, wasting valuable screen space.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Long-press on a widget until the handles appear.
2. Drag the widget to either the screen edge or a panel edge.
3. Release the mouse button
OBSERVED RESULT
Widget bounces back to about 15px away.
EXPECTED RESULT
Widget should remain where it's been placed.
