Most likely I'm seeing the same. Why I type in Konsole (or any other native KDE
application -- the ALT+F2 launcher, start-menu search bar, ...) CPU usage jumps
to 100% on one core. I can visually verify it with the "Individual Core Usage"
monitor widget, as soon as I start typing, one par goes all the way up (and
`top` confirms it).

This is specific for KDE applications only. Typing this report in Brave doesn't
do anything with CPU usage.
