video showing the bug
DESCRIPTION
On my HP Pavilion m6-1035dx laptop, the Night Color causes everything to appear
an odd pinkish color when the display's color accuracy is set to "Prefer
efficiency". Changing color accuracy to "Prefer color accuracy" solves the
problem, but I have heard this can cause performance issues.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable Night Color with display color accuracy set to "Prefer efficiency"
OBSERVED RESULT
Everything looks pinkish, with some colors (e.g., default Breeze blue
highlight) appearing completely wrong. See the attached video. My camera didn't
capture the colors great, but hopefully well enough to see the bug.
EXPECTED RESULT
The color temperature reduction should lead to more of an orange tint.
