Bug ID: 520000
Summary: Elisa always resets to the home music folder
Classification: Applications
Product: Elisa
Version First 26.04.0
Reported In:
Platform: Bazzite
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general

Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
I use Elisa to listen to audiobooks on an external hard drive. In the
configuration I set my audiobook folder as both the 'Music Folder' and the
initial location folder.
If I then shut down Elisa and leave it for some time (don't know how long -
over a day), when reopening Elisa the 'Music' folder has reset to the default
music folder on the C drive. This also resets whatever playlist I have - which
can be annoying when playing audiobooks.
This isn't a problem I've had in the past, so think it's new.
Just realised the 'scan for new music on startup' was ticked, so will have a go
with it unticked - but even so, it shouldn't reset the folder.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set Music folder to an external hard drive.
2. Close Elisa and restart at a later date
3.
OBSERVED RESULT
Music folder resets to default. Playlist cancelled as if opening for the first
time.
EXPECTED RESULT
Music folder should remain as set, playlists should continue.
