DESCRIPTION
If we have an account on one instance of Mastodon server and we go to a toot
which is on another instance of Mastodon then all the responses and sub-toots
are not displayed.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a Mastadon account and configure it using Tokodon.
2. Take a tweet or toot, which is a reply to another Toot. In our case see the
toot circled in Yellow from "Monoka" which is a reply to a toot from "Ozzie D,
NP-hard". This is shown in the uploaded image file,
"Screenshot_Tokodon-WorkingCopy.jpg".
3. Now in the Tokodon Search text box search for "Ozzie D, NP-hard", we are
looking for a user with the handle, "@[email protected]". Navigate to
the user.
4. In Tokodon client itself scroll to his toot dated 12-May-2026, which refers
to the problem in Firefox 150.0.2 and Gnome 46. For more details which toot we
are looking for, refer to the uploaded image file,
"Screenshot_Tokodon-WorkingCopy.jpg", and the item circled in yellow.
5) Right click on the toot where the three vertical dots are there and select
the option "Open Thread". It will take some to load. You will see that there
are only some 6-7 toots listed. Please refer to the 2nd screenshot of the
Tokodon Application given in the bottom half of the uploaded image file,
"Screenshot_Tokodon-WorkingCopy.jpg"
6) In the Tokodon client take the topmost toot, by @[email protected]
on the same topic and click on "Open in Browser". This will open the toot in a
new Browser session.
7) In the browser session, that will take you to the URL
https://infosec.exchange/@ozdreaming/116559881206599360, you can see more
toots. Please refer to the attached file with the name,
"Screenshot_Firefox.jpg"
OBSERVED RESULT
When a toot is opened up in Tokodon all of its messages are not shown.
EXPECTED RESULT
When a toot is opened up in Tokodon all of its messages ought to be shown.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
There is a work around that is available to fix this bug. But it would be good
to have this fixed.
