            Bug ID: 520081
Summary: Rendering completion does not update the progress
                    status in the Job Queue
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdenlive
      Version First 26.04.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Microsoft Windows
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Rendering & Export
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION:

I had previously been using an older version of KdenLive from 2021 on Windows
11 (unfortunately, I do not recall the exact version number). Since updating to
version 26.04.0, I have noticed that the progress bar within the rendering job
queue hangs whenever a project has nearly finished rendering, despite the fact
that rendering does in actuality finish and produce a valid video file. This
happens regardless of the encoder/file type selected and does not correct or
update itself after any amount of time given for the program to idle. The
'Abort Job' also deletes the completed video file, which means that I have had
to move rendered files out of my usual export folder in order to ensure they
stick around whilst I identify adjustments and work in the editor. Updating to
version 26.04.1, did not address the issue.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Open KdenLive on a machine running Windows 11.
2. Open the project of your choice.
3. Render the project with the preset of your choice (In testing, I primarily
used 'MP4-H264/AAC', 'NVENC H264 ABR', and 'NVENC H264 VBR')
4. Click the 'Render to File' button to start the render.
5. Navigate to the export destination in 'File Explorer'.
6. Wait for the progress bar in the 'Job Queue' to halt/hang.

OBSERVED RESULT:

You will observe that the project correctly renders a valid video file,
indicating that rendering finished successfully, but the 'Job Queue' does not
reflect this and will treat the status of the render as though it is still in
progress.

EXPECTED RESULT:

The expected result is for the 'Job Queue' to correctly recognize when
rendering has finished.
