I am not a KDE Developer. I am a normal KDE user. I am not able to reproduce this issue. The Software versions as given by the creator of this issue differ from mine. Details are given below. I am not on openSUSE rather on Arch. I am able to copy images opened in Gwenview using the keyboard short cut CTRL+C as well as the hamburger menu option Copy. I have opened JPG and PNG files and was able to copy them. The images were copied and not the file:///url. I could post them in Libreoffice as well as other image manipulation programs. Can the following information be provided. 1) What was the image format that was used ? JPG or PNG or BMP or JPG-2000 or JPEG XL or some other format. 2) Which browser was used to paste the image into the Github? Was it Firefox? Chromium? Vivaldi? or something else. 3) When the image is copied from Gwenview can it be posted into other applications like an office suite (e.g. LibreOffice), image manipulation application (krita or gimp)? Or there also the path is pasted? What shortcut key was used to paste? CTRL+V, INSERT, SHIFT+INSERT? 4) Can the image that is being attempted to be copied be uploaded into this issue? 5) In the browser has any setting being done for paste? 6) For pasting in the browser what shortcut key was used? CTRL+V, INSERT, SHIFT+INSERT?
