Right now we can show groups in the animation timeline (either while selected or pinned), but we could certainly do more to better represent the full tree of layer "nodes" in the timeline itself. The trick would be doing so without cluttering the UI too much. Regardless this is definitely something to keep in mind as we iterate on the Timeline Docker design in the future.
