I understand the frustration you've experienced after installing Dolphin through flatpak and then the Mint package, with the resulting conflicts. This isn't really a bug with KDE software. It's a result of the files provided by the older Mint-provided version of Dolphin conflicting with the newer flatpak version. Unfortunately, the file locations, changes and methods of installation and uninstallation of Mint deb packages vs flatpak is different and somewhat complex You'll need to reach out to your distro, Linux Mint, for help with this.
