            Bug ID: 520133
Summary: Falkon lacks the ability to fill-in usernames and
passwords in credential fields in most modern webpage
                    layouts.
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Falkon
      Version First 26.04.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION:
Falkon lacks the ability to fill-in usernames and passwords in credential
fields in most modern webpage layouts. For example, when visiting the google
accounts sign-in interface, the password autofill mechanism fails to detect and
fill-in the blank fields. Additionally, this issue isn't just prevalent on
google.com--its disfunctional in nearly all websites that either imploy
anti-bot measures (removes autofilled credentials, when the form fields haven't
been clicked on), or have an interface which isn't compatible with Falkon's
built-in password_auto_fill_script.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Clear google's session cookies.
2. Visit google.com
3. attempt to login in with your google credentials using the forms_autofill.

OBSERVED RESULT:
Your greeted with an empty form with the following message: "Email or Phone,"
not your email/phone.

EXPECTED RESULT:
You should be able to hit "mext" without interacting the the sign-in process
(filling in passwords and usernames).

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS:
Operating System: CyperiousOS (Alpine 3.23)
Desktop Version: BlockDE (x11)
KDE Frameworks Version: ?
Qt Version: 6.11.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Running the prepackaged browser from the edge repositories on Alpine.
