Seconding this feature request. The Meta-T custom tiling feature is awesome,
and the only this I miss from FancyZones is the ability to span multiple zones
when moving/resizing a window.
My use case is that I have a large, high resolution screen (actually a 4k TV)
and splitting it into 4x4 tiles allowed me to basically use FancyZones as a
snap grid for my windows, a bit like WindowGrid does: http://windowgrid.net/

This is an extremely useful feature on large 4k/8k screens. 

I don't have a lot of C++ experience but let me kmow if I can help in any way.
