The Dolphin bug doesn't have the path recreateBackBufferIfNeeded → QImage::sizeInBytes it has recreateBackBufferIfNeeded → QImage::devicePixelRatio It's possible recreateBackBufferIfNeeded is passing bad data in both cases, but there's another Qt report for that particular path This bug is likely https://qt-project.atlassian.net/browse/QTBUG-129683 I'm not able to reproduce the crash by right clicking in Konsole with Qt Version: 6.10.3 If you're still seeing this crash with 6.10.3, you can add a comment to the Qt bug.
